Dealt Support
Help with the website and the iPhone and iPad app
How do my games get to my other devices?
Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on, on each device. Dealt syncs through your private iCloud database automatically, usually within a minute of a change. Settings › Sync in the app shows whether sync is on.
One device is missing games, or shows different ones from my others
This is a device whose local copy has drifted out of step with iCloud. The repair is to empty that one device and let iCloud fill it again — on the device that's wrong, not the one that's right.
On the device that's missing games, open Settings › Delete All Data and choose Delete From This Device Only. Then quit Dealt completely and open it again: it comes back empty and refills from iCloud over the next few minutes on Wi‑Fi. Nothing is deleted from iCloud or from your other devices.
Do not choose “Delete Everywhere, iCloud Too” for this. That one is the opposite: it deletes every game, player and game type from iCloud and from all of your devices, for good. The two options sit next to each other, so read before tapping.
The “this device only” option appears when iCloud sync is on for that device. If you don't see it, check Settings › Sync first. It's worth exporting a backup before either one, and Settings › Sync › Sync Diagnostics will tell you what that device thinks is happening.
How do I back up my scores?
Open Settings › Backup & Export › Export Backup and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. Restore from Backup adds anything that's missing and never creates duplicates. iCloud sync isn't a backup: a deletion syncs everywhere, so keep a backup file too.
Can I get my scores into a spreadsheet?
Settings › Backup & Export has CSV exports of every game's results and of every hand. Each finished game can also be shared as text, CSV or an image.
Does the app collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, ads or analytics, and nothing is sent to us. See the privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
No. You can score games without signing in; they stay tied to your browser. Sign in with Apple or Google to keep them with your account across browsers.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Delete individual players and games on the site at any time. To remove everything tied to your account, send a message above with the topic Privacy or data request, or email support@wisconsam.com.
